About Me

Hello!!!I'm Ashley!
Welcome to The Vanilla Tulip!
I'm so glad you've stopped by... here's just a little bit about me and also what you'll find on my blog...

I'm married to my best friend, college sweetheart and love of my life, Travis...

And the mother of my three precious babes...
Emma, Colt and Cade.

I'm a stay-at-home mom to my three little ones.
The wife of a highschool football coach.
I love the Lord and serve a Risen Savior.
Without Christ I would be nothing.
My husband is my best friend and the best guy I've ever known!
I love my job of staying-at-home and have a passion for making ends meet on one income.
I love sewing and creating using what I have on hand.
I love cooking and baking for my family.
I love being a hostess and welcoming people into my home.
I've had three babies in three years and two months.
I'm a lover of all things caffeinated...especially Dr. Pepper.
I have a little shop that's called The Vanilla Tulip...
here's a taste of what you will find!

I've been praying about the purpose of this blog.
I started it a few years ago for the main purpose of keeping my family updated on the babies.
It has evolved into a creative outlet for me that I love :)
My prayer is that you would be encouraged and inspired when you stop by.
Whether you're a working mom, single woman, stay-at-home mom or a wife with no children...
my desire is to encourage you right where you're at.
I am beginning a new series called, Thrifty Thoughts.
I bet that each one of us would love to save money one way or another...right?
Whether it's to make ends meet or just to set aside money for something fun.
I want to encourage you that living frugally and on a budget doesn't have to be a prison sentence.
It truly can be a fun challenge :)
I find that I am most creative when I'm forced to use what I have on hand...anyone with me?!
Each Thrifty Thoughts post will have ideas on how we can save money.
Whether through an inexpensive recipe, ways to cut costs grocery shopping or even shopping at thrift stores.
Not all of the posts will be from me.
I am going to be bringing in guest bloggers who I admire and consider to be thrifty women :)

So glad you stopped by...
leave a comment with your e-mail...
I'd love to get to know you :)
Have a great day!!
