One of my favorite things to do to prepare for a new baby is to make a custom carseat cover.
With each baby we just use the same carseat over and over.
So adding a new cover to the carseat makes it feel fresh and new!
With the first three babies I made my own.
And then with Eloise I ran out of time and energy.
Imagine that ;)
This is where Chubby Baby on Etsy came into play!
I found their shop on Etsy and immediately fell in love with their selection.
They have the most PRECIOUS carseat covers!
This is the carseat cover that I chose.
What I love most about Chubby Baby's covers is that you don't have to undo the buckles to slip it on.
You just put it on and it has slits down the middle for your carseat straps to come through.
I love this because as we all know babies can be messy and the cover needs to be washed frequently.
This makes it so easy to do so!

ReplyDeleteit worries me that you use the same carseat over and over. they have an expiration date... the materials break down and if (God forbid) you were in an accident, the baby wouldn't be as safe. I'd rather spend the money on a plain car seat & know I am protecting my child than on a cover for a cute car seat. just sayin'
