Monday

The past week the weather has been gray and rainy.

Which I love...especially when I have nowhere to be.

But yesterday when the sun finally peeked out for the morning it felt like a little bit of heaven!

It was just Eloise and me yesterday morning.

I helped Trav get everyone dressed and out the door for a morning of church.

Then I curled up on the couch to watch Downton Abbey Season 3 in the sunshine with my littlest gal.

Maybe because she's baby number four..I don't know...

but I have found myself wanting this newborn time to go extra slowly.

I remember with Emma I loved her being a newborn but I was always excited for the next age too.

This time around I just want to freeze time.

So I've been savoring and soaking in every newborn minute with this little one.

There's nothing like it.

Their little bodies all curled up like they're still in the womb.

The newborn smell.

The precious little newborn faces.

This is our first week back to somewhat normal.

We're slowly figuring things out.

Everyone's adjusting to their new role and placement in our little family.

The kids have all done surpringly well.

Here's to a new week as a family of six! :)
