*I thought I had posted these pictures the evening of Emma's birthday but just now realized I had forgotten to! Since my blog helps to serve as a scrapbook for our family here they are a few weeks later :) *

Sweet Emma's birthday was a little different than we had planned on.
Colt woke up around 5 with a stomach bug that we had all been passing around.
We had planned on spending the morning outside at the park
which obviously didn't happen with our sick guy.
Emma was such a good sport about not going to the park for her birthday...love my girl.
I asked her what she wanted for her special birthday breakfast
and she chose Lucky Charms and Orange Juice.
After breakfast I cozied both boys up on the couch with a movie so
I could spend a little one-on-one time with the birthday girl.
I set up a pedi/mani station in her bedroom and she got to spend the morning being pampered :)
Lunch time is when we opened presents.
I had purchased a little Barbie for Colt to give to Emma.
To say that it was her favorite gift would be an understatement.
She still talks about how sweet Colt was to give her the Barbie she always wanted.
I adore their friendship!!! :)
And now my sweet girl is 5.
Five and independent.
She is the most generous little person I know.
Constantly thinking about her brothers and making sure they have the best.
She's a nurterer.
Always wanting to take care of and mother the boys.
She's my helper.
Never complaining when I ask her to do something.
She is dramatic (in a good way) and I love the excitement she brings to our home.
Always singing and dancing....with a costume change every hour...every day.
She is as girly as it gets.
I love that about her :)
I adore my girl more than anything.
It is an honor to be her mom.
I love you Emma Kate!
