It's been quiet here today.
One of those days where the laundry is caught up and the house tidied by 10.
My favorite kind of day.
We spent the rest of the morning eating chocolates and crafting while listening to Christmas music.
Actually the kids crafted whileI made lists.
I have made a mental Christmas list but nothing on paper.
Probably not the best idea.
I ended up buying doubles for some people and nothing for others. :)
How is your Christmas shopping going?
I've done the majority of mine online this year.
I kind of like it that way.
Stress free.
I do however like to enter the stores for fun little "additions" to presents.
You know... little things you didn't know existed but are
the perfect something extra to top off your gift.
And I need to get the kids stocking stuffers.
My favorite part of Christmas gifts!
Do you do stockings at your house?
And what do you fill them with?
I usually head to the Target dollar aisle to pick up little, stickers, puzzles.
And then to the toy aisle for little toys... matchbox cars, polly pockets, etc.
Hope your Thursday has been good!
I'm off to talk Travis into getting take-out burritos for dinner...
wish me luck!

  1. Sounds lovely!!! Your kids Are so cute!!! I have only bought 2 gifts. I Terribly flounder at he last moment every year sadly!!!

  2. I love the white tree! It's festive and so lovely. Days like you described are the best kinds of days.

  3. as a kid we always got peanuts (in the shell),and an orange in our stockings along with other small stuff like suckers or hard candies, chap stick and such. Although I do remember one year my dad put a little red suzuki harmonica in my stocking...years later I still have that harmonica...

  4. I adore that tree and your style :) Your littles are so cute!

  5. This day looks perfect and I want to come over! Stockings are my most fave! I put everything from trinkets to Micah's main gifts in there. Candy, candy and more candy!

  6. oh and p to the s, I love seeing the bow garland and hoop on your mantel, makes my heart happy!

  7. This looks like such a fun morning with your kiddos. We love stockings in our family - they are the place to put lots of unexpected little treasures. I love seeing what moms with more/older kids do around the holiday season, so thanks for sharing! My son is one, and I can't wait until we can do fun things like this. Merry Christmas!

  8. I just have to say: Your children are darling darling darling! Some of the most beautiful children I've ever seen. I was going through a few of your entries and saw the one about Disney baby... Oh Lord. :)

Now following your blog! I'm not a mother, nor plan to be one for at least a couple years, but I love following women like you. :)
