We're back safe and sound from our weekend away!
Sunday morning Travis and I headed out bright and early for a few days away...kid free.
We headed to San Antonio where Travis was attending Coaching School...
We headed to San Antonio where Travis was attending Coaching School...
I was a total tag-along.
Side Note: Coaching school is where coaching staffs meet from all over Texas to listen to speakers, meet one another and fun stuff like that.
My sweet in-laws watched all three kids for two nights and three days.
THANKYOU Pop and Nan :)
It was a blessing to us!!!

We feasted on seafood and mexican...
Cracker Barrell and Kolaches (Czech pastries)...
ate the BEST Key Lime Pie I've ever tasted in bed while watching the Olympics...
spent over eleven hours in the car just the two of us...
laid by the pool and visited with friends...
slept in...
took naps at five in the afternoon...
ate late dinners at nine...
and came back feeling refreshed and ready to tackle a new football season,
in addition to some new goals for our family.
It was a sweet time away with my best friend but it feels SO
good to have everyone back in our home where they belong :)
Tomorrow is Part Two of our trip.
It was such a treat!!!
Hope your weekend was good!

aww you two might be the cutest thing ever! looks like you had an amazing couple days away. And as if that isn't enough, you COMPLETELY had me at key lime pie.
