Howdy fabulous Vanilla Tulip readers!

I hope you are having a wonderful day so far!

I'm Amanda and blog over at Red Barn Candle Company.

Here is a bit of my story:

I am a wife to the hubs, for eleven years now.

I am a stay at home mama of our two littles,

who, truth be told, aren't so little anymore!

Our little lady and little man will BOTH be in school this year.

Leaving this Mama, at home alone, for the first time in ten years.

To say I am nervous is a bit of an understatement!

They are my life and have been for ten whole years.

This upcoming school year will be a major adjustment for this mama!

When I started my blog, almost one year ago,

it was largely due because of the anticipation of this major life change.

{For my family and myself}

I knew this day was coming and knew blogging was something I had always wanted to do.

It has been a great journey for me so far.

I have met so many great friends, the blog world truly offers so much inspiration.

Blogging has also allowed me to expand my business,

connecting with customers outside of my local area.

Yay for blogging!

I started my actual candle business not too long after our little lady was born, about eight years ago.

Although it was not "my plan" to have a full fledged business.

I began pouring candles in my kitchen and gave them as gifts to friends and family.

In a nutshell, word just spread from there.

People wanted to know where and how to purchase my candles.

Hence, Red Barn Candle Company was born.

I thank God everyday for blessing our little family of four in so many ways.

Times have not always been perfect.

We have had ups, downs and challenges along the way,

but I wouldn't change a thing.

God has always been there to guide us through every single step.

Leading us down the path that we are supposed to be in.

And for that, we are blessed beyond belief!
