It's been a quiet and slow few days over here.
Nowhere to be and nothing to wake up early for.
The other morning the big two were snuggled up to me sleeping as Travis was leaving for work.
He headed out and I couldn't help but smile to myself as I lay sandwiched

He headed out and I couldn't help but smile to myself as I lay sandwiched
between their two little bodies.
I love that while he was off to do his job I was doing mine at that very moment.
I have a feeling these days at home with the three
of them are going to be some of my favorite memories.
Colt and his big words for such a little person....
the other day he asked what lake we lived by.
I told him and after he heard the answer he said,
I told him and after he heard the answer he said,
"Ahh...that information is of assistance."
I mean seriously...that two year old kills me with his big words!
Or when I walk into the kitchen and find him frollicking around the kitchen with an open jar of
Cajun seasoning...tossing it left and right and over his head as he skips around the kitchen.
And memories of my sweet Emma who is growing up faster than I can grasp.
She is so vibrant and full of life at this age.
There is a children's choir at church which we haven't participated in this spring.
I thought a break would be nice (really I just didn't want to be at church an hour earlier...:) ).

On Sunday the children's choir sang two songs as a special in front of church.
Keep in mind Emma has NOT participated in any practices.
Well who do you think was on the front row during the perfomance?
Yes... my sweet girl.

She had cried when the choir teacher's picked up the other kids from their Sunday school class.
The teachers were so kind and told her she could participate.
The best part of the whole thing... she didn't know a single word to the songs.
But she had some killer swaying movements and over exaggerated waving arm motions.

Such a free little spirit :)
And then there's my Cade.
My constant companion.
My constant companion.
The older he gets the more he loves me.
I adore how big his love tank is.
If I walked around the house all day holding him in a big hug

If I walked around the house all day holding him in a big hug
I think he would probably die from happiness.
This past week he woke up in the middle of the night...
I went to his room and held him for almost an hour.
He stayed awake the whole time.
He stayed awake the whole time.
Just sleepily holding me back and smiling up at me with half open eyes.
Sweet memories.
I love this picture... his little hand always reaching out and touching me every few minutes.
Makes me smile :)
How has your week been?
Can't believe the weekend is almost here!
Guess that's what happens when you don't blog for a few days :)
