The Day After

My love tank has been filled to the top as of yesterday!

I am so honored to be the mama to my three sweet babies.

They loved and pampered me all day yesterday.

Coffee made for me, Subway for lunch, an afternoon nap,

a special card, lots of hugs and kisses, Snickers Icecream Bars...

and to top it off we found a hammock in someone's trash on our way home from church;)

You'd better believe we snatched it up!

It just needed a little TLC in a few spots and is good as new. :)

The older I get and the further into my mothering years

the more appreciative I am of my own mother.

Being a mom has made me realize the sacrifices my own mom made for me growing up.

Have I ever told y'all that I was homeschooled K-12th grade?

My mom is still homeschooling my younger siblings.

That's 23+ years of teaching going on in her home.
Which equals up to a whole lot of sacrifice and hard work.

Honestly I don't know how she did it.
Five kids...four different grades...running a home..being a good wife...

being an example...having a great sense of humor...

being a Proverbs 31 example...

She's straight up awesome and who I aspire to be.
I love you Mom!

And then there's my sweet mother-in-law.

I am so thankful for her and how she raised my husband.

I love the man he is :)

I am so thankful she spoiled and loved on him as a little boy...

because now he is great at loving and spoiling our family :)
