You guys crack me up :)
I had a ton of you ask where I got my headband/head scarf from.
I'll fill you in on a little secret.
It's just a piece of fabric from my scraps!
My ALL TIME favorite fabric is Heather Bailey's Nicey Jane Collection.
I used both the Picnic Bouquet in Tangerine and also the Cream to make head scarves.
You can find this fabric on Etsy.
Just search the name under supplies.
To make the head scarf I used a 26x6 piece of fabric.
Before I tied it on my head I folded the ends under so the frayed edges wouldn't show.
And that's it.
:)Simple and inexpensive!
I have to explain the following picture.
Yesterday the weather was BEAUTIFUL!
Low 80's, blue skies, sunny.
The kids and I drove to the town over to get a few things from Walmart.
We had the windows down and were enjoying the day.
I thought it would be nice for us to get a little extra sunshine so I parked WAY out in the parking lot.
We were in the store about an hour.
When we came back out it was in the low 60's, blowing horizontal rain, thundering and lightening.
How does that even happen?
I put Emma on the back of the cart, Cade was in the front and Colt rode the handle bar while I ran across the parking lot to where our car was parked in the middle of nowhere.
Lesson learned :)
And that's that.
If you have any questions about the scarf ask away.
Hope your day was great:)

This is so adorable! I love scarves, but I can never make the rest of my hair behave when I wear them.

ReplyDeleteI loved your head scarf in that picture....soooo cute! I will definitely be trying it...I use headbands a lot but the fabric "scarf" is so much better! It's the perfectly messy hair that I cannot seem to master for myself...I LOVE it on everyone but I can't make my hair do it...therefore mine is always just slicked back and stuck to my head! It makes me SAD! :(
