This week has been busier than most for our little family.
We had a few activities up at the school that we joined in on.
More on those in a later post.
I can tell when we've been busier than normal because my kids getting fussier.
No naps and not a normal routine seems to wear on them.
We're big on routine over here.
My kiddos seem to thrive with it.
I feel like having a routine helps them feel comfortable and safe...
they know what's coming up next...
they know what to expect.
Plus it makes my life easier.
Less planning and thinking on my part.
Creatures of habit over here :)
We wrapped up the busiest part of our week with a long walk this evening.
Everyone's bathed and tucked into bed now...
the big two giggled and talked for almost an hour before all was quiet.
Sweet sweet moments and memories I don't want to forget.
I love having this blog to document this stage of our lives.
My brother and sister lost a teenage friend in a car accident this weekend.
It makes my stomache ache to think about it.
Life is short.
Too short to get caught up in the hustle and bustle...
too short to get caught up in fights and pettiness...
too short to not thoroughly love on those around us.
And even more important than all of that.
Life is too short to ignore where you will go when you die.
It's simple.
Either heaven or hell.
There's no in between.
If you are unsure about where you will go when you die I encourage you to read this post.
You never know when it might be your last day.
Or a loved ones last day.
Those of you who are Believers...
what's holding us back from telling others about the Truth?
I'm as guilty as the next person.
Sometimes it can be awkward.
It can be uncomfortable.
It can be inconvenient.
But it is eternity.... forever. Never ending.
Let's encourage one another on in spreading the Good News of Christ.
Matthew 9:37
"The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few."
Such a fabulous reminder Ash. I still find that a very awkward topic to have with an unbeliever, but I am praying every day that God will give me the courage to speak up. I commend you for having the courage to do so! Blessings!! XOXO!!<3
ReplyDeleteyou are absolutely right. time is fleeting. great reminder to constantly make the most of each moment we are given. makes me think a lot about the legacy i am leaving for my children and those around me.

ReplyDeletethese pictures are beautiful...and I don't think that anything will ever remind me how fleeting time is more than looking at my child and hopefully one day children.
