Spring has sprung

Spring has officially sprung here in Texas!

Today was the first day of spring break for our family.
One of my favorite parts of Trav being a coach/teacher is having him home for a whole week.

My sister came and spent the day with us.

The majority of the day was spent outside soaking in the 80 degree weather!

We played outside, went on a walk, went fishing and had a picnic dinner by the lake.

It was a great but tiring day!

 Lots of sunshine and playing will do that I suppose :)

 That's why there will be more pictures than words tonight!

A few little items of business before I forget!

I had said that Thursday we would do a recipe link up.

Hold on to those recipes...I'm saving it for another week.
I've decided to keep it low key on the blog this week since Travis is home.

Also... here in the next week I am going to have an online garage sale on the blog.
I've been going through closets and have some clothes that are needing to go.
There will be my clothes and also a few things from Emma's closet.

I'll keep you updated!
