Goodmorning!
The usual Monday morning routine is in full swing over here.
Laundry's going, baby's down for his nap, the big two are building a town
and I'm finishing up my coffee!
This morning I'm feeling so thankful for my little family.
Thankful for a hard working husband who wants me to stay home with my sweet babes.
Life doesn't get any better :)
This verse has been blessing me this morning...
Proverbs 14:4
"Where there are no oxen, the manger is empty,
but from the strength of an ox comes an abundant harvest."
So thankful to be in a messy manger in the midst of my little oxen :)
It's such a sweet time of filling their little love tanks and teaching and nurturing them.

You know spring has sprung by the tastiness of your fruit.
Everything is starting to taste a little bit sweeter!
We're headed to the nursery this week to pick out a few tomato and herb plants.
This year I'm going to garden out of pots.
We live in such a shaded area that I'm going to need to move my plants to where the sun is.

Last week the kids and I hit up my favorite thrift store.
It's always super hit or miss with this particular store.
This past trip was a definite "hit" kind of week!
I found this sweet sewing basket ...
a new picnic quilt....
and three yards of this vintage print (which is in perfect condition!)....
all for $10!

How was your weekend?
Uneventful?
Eventful?
Full of spring time activities?
Did you grill out?
We seriously can't STOP grilling :)
I've been on the hunt for some fun recipes for the grill.
What are some of your favorites?

ReplyDeleteLove the finds! I need a good picnic quilt. If your grocery store has anything called a country griller, you must embark. Cheese and peppers inside chicken wrapped with Bacon. Grilled pineapple is a must as well. We live off the grill come April. Too hot to cook inside.
ReplyDeleteLove your comparison to the messy manger with your little oxen! My days are filled with the same :) Such cute vintage finds too!
ReplyDeleteThat is the best thrifting trip ever!!! I love the quilt :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for blogging some recipes. My husband and I are starting a fruit and veggie cleans this week aznd I never think to make a fruit salad. I'm going to replicate the fruit salad you made for one of the days. The bean and rice salad looks great too I think we'll try it after the cleans when my in-laws come for a few days.
