Our Day-Morning (Part 1 of 3)

Good Tuesday morning friends!

Hope your morning is off to a good start!

Last year I had several requests to show you guys what a typical day looks like for us.

I never got around to fully documenting it.

So I began today.
Instead of taking pictures of one full day (which would make a gigantic blog post),

I decided to break it up into three sections of our day.

So first up...

Our Morning

6:20: Woke up and made Travis his breakfast and lunch.

Crawled back into bed for a few minutes.

6:40: Hopped in the shower before the kids woke up.

Got dressed, then checked a few e-mails.

7:00- Kids up and at em'!

I had made a big batch of blueberry muffins yesterday so I reheated a few for them.

Fed Cade part of a muffin and some baby food.

7:30-Wiped them all up and put them all in the living room to play.

7:45- Made myself hardboiled eggs for breakfast.
I always eat after the kids.
I find it pointless to try and eat while they're eating.
My food always gets cold :)

8:00- Finish my breakfast and make a big cup of coffee.

Fact: I usually end up reheating my one cup of coffee about four times.

And after the fourth time I end up losing it around the house.

:)

Side Note: there is rarely a moment in my day that there isn't a child at my feet.

We move as a little pod :)

I'll miss these days!

8:15- Put on some makeup and straighten my hair while the kids are still playing.

8:30- Gather the kids clothes for the day.
Get everyone dressed, faces washed and hair combed.

8:45- Take a quick break to make Colt a fishing pole out of a spatula and yarn.

9:00- Take five minutes to write down to do's that I want to complete today.

Then clean up the kitchen from breakfast and sweep the floor.

9:30- Move on to my bedroom to tidy up and make the bed.

Throw in a load of laundry.

10:00- Put Cade down for his morning nap.

Put up this blog post.
And now I'm getting ready to sit down with the kids for an hour to work on "school"

and their Scripture memory!
