Dallas Friends

I know I said I was going to do a Part 2 today of what our day looks like.
But I'm going to switch things up today.  The Part 2 will come tomorrow.

Each night I tuck my babies into their beds.
They each have special warm blankets and pillows that are tucked around them.
Then I crawl into my own warm bed with soft, warm sheets and blankets.

We are blessed.

When you drive through Dallas it is impossible to drive around without seeing a homeless person.

They were everywhere.

I'm joining up with The Shine Project and Casey for a very special project.

We are gathering fleece to make blankets for the homeless of Dallas.

We are teaming up with Dallas LIFE.

Dallas LIFE is a Christian ministry for the homeless.

They provide shelter, food, clothing, medical help and also educational help.

The blankets that are made will be given to Dallas LIFE for them to distribute to the homeless families.

It's not just adults.

There are children.

Here is where you come in.

We are needing fleece.Lots of it.

Each piece of fleece needs to be 45" wide but 54" is ideal.

They need to be at least one yard in length.

If you have a group that you are involved in please get your group involved!

If you're a teacher get your students and co-workers involved!

If you're a business person, get your co-workers involved!

If you're in a Bible study get your friends involved!

If you're in a Sunday school get your classmates involved!

If you're in a playgroup get your girlfriends involved!

If you're a stay-at-home mom get your small kids involved in giving!
