Buffalo Chicken Dip

My younger sister made this dip over Christmas break.
It is to die for!!!

Buffalo Chicken Dip

INGREDIENTS
1 (10 ounce) can chunk chicken, drained (I use one 12 oz can from Costco)
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup Ranch dressing
1/2 cup Buffalo wing sauce (such as Frank's Red Hot, not to be confused with their pepper sauce. Start with less if you want and add more to your desired hotness.)
3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
blue cheese crumbles (optional)

DIRECTIONS
Heat chicken and Buffalo sauce in a skillet over medium heat, until heated through. Make sure to break up the chicken so there are no big chunks. Stir in cream cheese and ranch dressing. Cook, stirring until well blended and warm. Mix in shredded cheese. Pour into a shallow dish or pie pan and sprinkle with blue cheese crumbles and microwave it until the cheese melts. We usually only sprinkle blue cheese on half of it for those who aren’t blue cheese fans. Serve with chips for dipping.

  1. Buffalo Chicken is pretty much the best thing ever invented! We seriously have something with buffalo chicken once every few weeks (or, if it was december, once a week.. :)

  6. Oh girl, Buffalo Chicken Dip is to DIE for, but you have got to make it different way. I'm kind of an expert on Buffalo Dip. Main thing, NEVER can I say NEVER use can chicken again. Next time you are making chicken anything, just save some leftovers of it. Especially if it has some yummy spices. Chop or shred it real thin and use that. It will taste and SMELL soo much better.

    1. I agree, it sounds YUMMY and I know my SON is going to LOVE this...with the exception, he will most definitely add 1 C-grilled chicken breast, diced or shredded. He usually makes his own RUB for his meat, so I can begin to tell you what he will use. HOWEVER, he does use the "Trade East" Six Pepper Blend as a rub. It is so good on most any meat you are grilling! Once you've tried it, I think you too, will find you use it a lot as well. :-) Thanks Vanilla for these GREAT recipes! :-)
