Goodmorning! The kids are outside right now helping Trav clean up the yard and I'm inside cleaning and posting odds and ends on Craigslist (or I'm supposed to be... instead I'm blogging :) ).
A few weeks ago I came across a delicious recipe for Crockpot Sloppy Joes. It was off of a cooking website... which one I don't remember!
A few weeks ago I came across a delicious recipe for Crockpot Sloppy Joes. It was off of a cooking website... which one I don't remember!
We've had the sloppy joes once a week since I've found the recipe and they are a HIT at our house!
Make them for your family on a busy night next week!

Crockpot Sloppy Joes
1 1/2 to 2 pounds ground beef
1/2 onion chopped
1/2 green pepper chopped
1 large can of tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar

2 tbsp. mustard
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. worchestire sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 cup flour

Brown the ground beef, onions and peppers in a skillet.
Once browned put that in a crockpot with the rest of the ingredients.
Cook in the crockpot on low for 6-8 hours.
Serve on buns!
