I've been soaking in time with my three little people
I love my days home with them.
I love my days home with them.
We have nowhere to be all week until Sunday.
That's definitely my idea of a good week :)
I don't want these days to go by to quickly.
Soon enough they'll be big and not need me so much.
I don't want to forget their sweet little voices calling me "mommy".

I don't want to forget their sweet little voices calling me "mommy".
I don't want to forget their belly laughs.
I don't want to forget Cade's fuzzy head as he snuggles close.
I don't want to forget how the highlight of our day is when we see deer out the window.

I don't want to forget how the highlight of our day is when we see deer out the window.
I don't want to forget bundling up to drive and look at Christmas lights.
I don't want to forget Emma saying she's exhausted from looking at Christmas lights and just wants to go home to her cozy bed. :)
I don't want to forget Colt singing "Santa Baby" in his little angel voice. :)

I don't want to forget the way my babies smell...good and bad ha!
I don't want to forget how much they LOVE to be read to!
I don't want to forget how much they love their Advent calendar and how they remind me every day to do it.
I don't want to forget them reciting the beginning of Luke 2 in their tiny voices.
I don't want to forget them reciting the beginning of Luke 2 in their tiny voices.
I don't want to forget how little their hands are.
I don't want to forget how much Emma LOVES egg salad sandwiches... more than any other food!
I don't want to forget how precious it is to watch her devour a gigantic egg salad sandwich. :)
Time for me to crawl in bed....

Did you have a good day?
I did have a good day! I got to lay in bed all morning, then go pick up my little girl! She stayed at grandma's for a few nights and we missed her so much! And she's been so lovey since she's been home!
ReplyDeleteI did, it was a quiet day. I like those :P

Lovely post - all true! I have been annoying my ten year old today by smelling his sweet breath - yes it is a bit weird but still at ten he has that beautiful smell! Enjoy every moment before mommy becomes m-o-m!!!! Love your blog all the way from Sydney Australia cheers Jane

ReplyDeleteI agree, I just want to soak in these moments too. Great photos. i love that you do so many traditions at this time of the year with your kids. We are big on traditions and celebrating the season of Christmas too.
ReplyDeleteI really really REALLY love the shot looking beyond your husband in the car looking out at the Christmas lights! SO cool! Great shots and sentiments throughout. :) Glad I found you on the Wiegand's linky party.
