29 Facts about Travis

1. He is selfless...never wanting or asking for anything. EVER.

2. He is the best friend you could ever imagine...faithful would be the perfect word to describe him.

3. He can eat warm chocolate chip cookies faster than anyone I know.  Whole batches are gone in an instant when he's around.  ;)  Although he will swear up and down that he "doesn't like sweets."

4. He is the most coordinated person I know. 

5. He is the best husband ever.  Example: this morning was his first day off for Christmas break.  He loaded up all the kids in the car for a drive and doughnuts so that I could sleep in.  He's a good man!

6. He shows me by example what it looks like to follow Christ. 

Every night before he goes to bed he spends time reading his Bible. 

7. He is the funniest person I know.  Not counting myself;)
Just kidding.
Kind of.

We have a continual contest going on who is the funniest between us.

It used to be him.
Then it was me for awhile when I was pregnant, chubby and jolly.
For today since it's his birthday I will give him the funny medal.

8. He will eat anything you place before him.  My mom loves him for his non-pickiness.

9. He is patient.  With me...the kids... his kids at work.  Way more patient than a normal human.

10. He has long legs that I'm hoping all three of my children will inherit.  :)

11. He is a faithful reader of the blog... I didn't realize that until recently. Cute :)

12. He would eat mexican food for every meal if he could.

13. He has the best laugh when he gets tickled at something!

14. He treats me like a princess and always makes me feel special.

15. He eats peanut butter and jelly sandwiches every day for lunch and never complains.

Probably time I switch it up a bit... sorry Trav:)

16. He loves fishing and the coast. 

17. If he could pick anywhere in the world to go on vacation and anything to do...
he would pick fishing at the Texas coast :) I love that about him!

18. He loves to sing.  All the time. He has a special song for each of our kids.  I love that each kid knows their special song that he picked out for them.
The cute part is he can't carry a tune.  Which makes it all the more sweet :)

19. He loves Whataburger. 

20. He shares a full size bed with me. Yes. Full. 

We foolishly bought that size when we were first married.

What's funny is he doesn't want a bigger bed even though his feet hang off the end.

He says if we had a bigger bed he would miss me.
ha!

He likes to be close in the night.
And close we are when 2 out of 3 of the children climb in with us during the night ;)

I am currently taking donations for a king sized bed if anyone feels so inclined ha!

21. He graciously helps me pick up in the evenings when I'm too tired...
even though it's my job and I should have already done it!

22. He is a great roller blader :)  When we lived in town he used to race the 10 year old boys around the block.  They would knock on the door asking if Travis could come out to play. ;)

23. He can spot a duck or deer from a mile away.

24. He is always 100% behind any crazy ideas I have. 

25. He allows me to stay at home with my babies.  The best gift I could ever be given!

26. He baths the kids and tucks them into bed every night. 

27. He graciously puts up with all my crafting messes around the house.

28. He drives an old pickup truck and never complains or wishes for a new one.

29.  He is all around incredible and I am so proud to call him my husband!
