1. Tell us about your shop: All of my candles are handpoured in 8 ounce mason jars and triple scented, using only the finest quality wax and oils on the market. My favorite "thing" about my business is that I make something that MY customers CHOOSE to put in THEIR homes. Most memories I have as a child have "certain scents" attatched to them. For instance, at Christmas time, my Mama always burned candycane scented candles. To this day, when I smell that scent, all of my childhood memories of Christmas come flooding back, and then tears and smiles always follow. To know that MY Red Barn Candles can be making a "scent memory" in YOUR home, is TRULY priceless my friends! This is what keeps me going when the going gets tuff. {As it does for ALL of us}

2. Tell us about you:Hi there! I am Amanda. I am a wife and a Mama to our two little ones, who I love and adore more than life itself. Nine years ago I started up my little at home business {Red Barn Candle Company} My candle making journey began as a hobby and after gift giving candles to family and friends, it gradually blossomed into a flourishing business. It has truly been a beautiful blessing to my family, allowing me to be at home with our children for nine years, and counting. Something that has ALWAYS been a priority to the hubs and I.  I hand pour each and every candle in my kitchen. Usually once my kiddos are tucked into thier beds at night. Sometimes {and often this time of year} the wee hours of the morning as well! I also make many other vintage inspired goods that you can find in my etsy shop.  I recently started the RBCC blog and opened up the RBCC etsy shop, in hopes of sharing a little bit of myself with you, as well as build my business online.  Truth be told, most of the time I am meeting myself coming and going. Life is ALWAYS crazy busy for our little family of four, but I wouldn't have it any other way! God has blessed us in so many ways and I have faith he will always provide for our family.
