Project Hope

Happy Monday friends!
I am so excited about today's post.
I want to introduce you to my dear friend Laura over at Splendor.

Laura is a wife to a pastor...
Mother to five sweet babes...
Two of whom are in heaven.
You can read more about her here.
Seriously head over and read it.
It not only tells who she is but it will encourage you :)
Laura has begun an effort called Project Hope.
Project Hope is working in collaberation with a group called Threads of Love.
The purpose of Project Hope is to minister to and bless mother's who have lost an infant.
When Laura lost her girls she was given a box for each filled with little handmade items.
A little prayer printed on a sheet, handmade crochet booties and hat, silver coin with the word "Hope" stamped onto it, small blankets, etc.
Laura's goal is to fill 50 boxes to give to Threads of Love in San Antonio.
Threads of Love will then distribute them to hospitals around San Antonio.
The project will go until December 15th.
There is STILL TIME TO GIVE!

Here is what they are still in need of to reach their goal:
-Little lovies/blankets
-Crochet hat and bootie sets

If you can help in any way with Project Hope please e-mail Laura at
