Morning Surprise

I stumbled outside this morning around 6:30 to take out the morning trash.
I'm so used to being blasted in the face with 100 degree heat that I was SHOCKED to feel cold air!
65 degree air!
This is reason to celebrate! WOOHOO!!!
I never thought the cooler fall weather would get here!

Travis had to work this morning for awhile so it was just the babes and me for breakfast.

We enjoyed our first fall breakfast on the porch!

And the best part is... we came inside after an hour or so because the kids were chilly!
Ah! I seriously wondered if this day would ever come! :)

Colt has a special walking stick that his Uncle Justin carved for him.
Uncle Justin carved his name into the side, little finger marks where his hand should go and a tiny man's face at the very top of the stick. 
Thus, Colt calls it his, "Man Stick." :)

The "Man Stick" is only allowed outside.
Because as you can see below he gets a little wild and boistrous when it's in his posession.

Boys certainly are different from girls.
As he was swinging his stick around yelling like a wild beast Emma was twirling and dancing beside me like a dainty princess.  I love the way God created them!!!

This little chubbalub was extra chipper this morning as well!
He sat in his bouncer most of the time outside and I've never seen him bounce so high!

Since we've gotten our internet set up I've been on the hunt for a desk to set my laptop on.

On our way to the football game on Friday night I drove past a garage sale and found a desk that was exactly what I was looking for! And it was just my price... $5!
I painted it yesterday afternoon after church.
