Friday Night Football

This post will be more pictures than words!
Primarily because I am running on just a few hours of sleep :)

Our boys played hard last night but sadly we lost.
So proud of how hard they tried!

After the game all the coaches and their families met at someone's home for dinner.
We did this in our old town and it's a tradition that has been brought to the new town.
I love this time!
Sort of a time to visit, unwind and talk about what happened at the game.
While it's definitely fun it doesn't put us home until REALLY late.
Like, midnight late :)

By the time I rolled into bed it was around 1ish.
Then I was up almost every hour with either a fussy Cade or poor Colt who couldn't shake a cough.

The big two are napping now.
I don't expect to see their sweet faces for a few more hours!
And Cade slept all morning which means no afternoon nap for him.

He's smart and knows it's his special one on one time with mom :)

Hope you all are having a great weekend!
Off to cuddle with my butterball and hopefully convince him to take another nap.. wish me luck!

  1. Love it! So much fun to have traditions. :) I remember long nights when I was a kid when my parents stayed over at friends' houses late. It was always so fun to get to play until late ;)
