New Porch Old Porch

Happy Thursday!
There have been quite a few of you who have asked to see more of the house.
I've decided to do it room by room!
So for today I'm going to start on the outside.

The porch!

Our new home doesn't have a front porch.
Rather the porch is on the side of the house.
I absolutely LOVE it!
We have only sat outside a handful of times since we've moved in.
The weather has been so incredibly hot in Texas that it's been much to muggy to sit out there to drink your coffee in the morning! And definitely to hot to play out there in the afternoons.

On one side we have our chairs set up...

And the other side is currently being used for kayak storage.

Our new porch is definitely bigger and nicer than our old one.
But I can't help but LOVE my old one.
Simply for the memories that we built on it.
I brought all three of my babies home to the little blue cottage with the sweet front porch.

Here are a few of my favorite memories...

So there you have it.
A beginning to the home tour with a little memory lane thrown in the mix :)
I'm thinking the next room I will show you is the dining room... stay tuned!
Have a great Thursday friends!!!

Oh, and last call to ask any questions you might have for me!
I'm going to be posting the "question" post this weekend!

    Questions!
You've had THREE babes and still look (to me) like you did when you were a life guard at the Bolivar City Pool. WHAT on EARTH do you do, or do you just have good genes :p

You make such cute stuff, and I know that crafting is expensive! How do you craft on a budget? Better yet, I'd like to hear more about you and Trav make his salary work.

You also seem to have it all together as a mommy and are able to always focus on what's important: your family. Do you ever have moments where you want to shut the door and run away for a few hours?

    Love your little family!
