Greetings! Would you believe that the hardest part of writing a blog post for me is figuring out what to say at the beginning of the post? :) Silly...I know. Greetings?! Who even says that? :) ha! And if I wrote "Good evening" (which it is right now) by the time you got around to reading this tomorrow morning it should really be saying "Good morning" or "Good afternoon".
So there you have it... and from now on you can judge how I begin and end a blog post :) :) :)

We've had an "arctic blast" here in Texas. Yes.... an Arctic Blast. That's what they call it. And when I say, "they" I mean everyone from the news stations to the lady at Walmart.
I was dropping off a prescription at the Walmart drive-through pharmacy last week. There are two lanes for dropping off and picking up your prescriptions. I was in the lane farthest away from the building. The weather was beautiful so I had my window rolled down while I waited for my prescription to be filled. As I was sitting there a car pulled up next to me and I happened to make eye contact with the woman passenger. She immediately rolled down her window and proceeded to ask, "Did you know we're going to be getting an arctic blast?!?"
So...like I said... the Arctic Blast is a BIG deal here in Texas :)
For those of you who live in states where you truly do get snow...go ahead and have a good laugh about the Texans and their Arctic Blast :) It's a favorite joke at our house!

Here are a few pics of the kiddos enjoying the snow!
Poor Colty accidently got a snowball to the face as I was taking his picture! oops :)
Our very homely snowman.
He only lasted about 3 minutes before Emma thought it would be funny to knock his head off.

And as usual I'll be ending this post saying that I'm heading to bed! :)
Have a great Tuesday!

So I finally made your "chicken in a biscuit" recipe you emailed me! It was a success! Thanks!
