Good Sunday evening!
The December weekends leading up to Christmas are my absolute favorite!
We spent this weekend around the house.
Saturday morning we walked downtown to our town's Christmas parade. On the way we stopped by the donut shop to get our favorites and some chocolate milk!
The parade was FULL of horses... so you can imagine how Colt acted the majority of the parade.
"HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRSEEE!!!"
He would scream this while his body SHOOK with excitement :)
Emma's favorite part of the parade were the cheerleaders.
Their float stopped momentarily in front of us and she had a great time dancing along to some Christmas tunes with her favorite cheerleaders!

This morning was a beautiful Christmas church service followed by long afternoon naps!
After naptime Emma and I made Cherry Almond Coffee Cakes (shaped like candy canes). I'll be sharing that recipe tomorrow!
My brain has officially shut down for the evening... guess that's a good sign that I should make my way to bed! Hope everyone had a great weekend!
Check back tomorrow for the Cherry Almond Coffee Cake... it is a holiday tradition at our house!
