Who's there?

Obviously NOT me :)

I will be shocked if anybody is still reading this blog at the rate I've been posting lately!
This tiny little person in me has been sucking the energy right out of me.
By the time I finish everything that MUST be done my brain is shot and the last thing I feel like doing is thinking :) Sad but true!

Instead of trying to recap every detail of where we've been over the past week just follow along with some pictures.... okay?

I feel like the past week has been spent mainly picking up.  Yes...that's right... picking up.
I'm sure all mothers feel this way but my kids truly feel like mini tornados walking around the house.
At what point do you just give up and stop picking up!? :)

Friday night football!!!
This week's game was extra fun because Trav's sister and her kids were in town to watch with us.
Plus the fact that our boys WON!!!

A happy dad after the win :)

One evening over the weekend was spent at Trav's parents house for dinner and some cousin playing time.
It was fun to watch how they would seperate by size to play.

An attempt at a cousin picture...
the girls were posed and ready and the boys kept falling back and laughing :)

Travis with his Mom and oldest sister Kimmie

And last but not least... a little proof that yes... I am indeed pregnant :)
I'm 13 weeks but my stomache seems to have exploded!  I guess that's what happens when you have 3 kids within 3 1/2 years.  Plus eating mass amounts of Cocoa Crispies probably doesn't help either ;) (as shown in the below picture..ha)

The sweet little nuggets are napping right now.  We'll see how long that lasts since some ding-dong at the city thought it would be a good time to test the tornado sirens multiple times in a row during my children's naptime.  Sheesh, you would've thought they could check with me first ;)

Off to shut my eyes for awhile as well!

I promise I'll check back sooner than later! :)

I've got a few new tasty recipes for the fall that you guys will enjoy!

Good night! :)

  1. Okay, I'm satisfied now :) I love the picture of Trav and Kim! Reminds me of good old days for sure. And I laughed out loud at the "ding-dong" comment haha! Love it, and that baby bump is too cute! You are so tiny everywhere else! HAPPY NAPPING! I for one do not get to nap since Russell feels the need to stay awake while the big kids finally sleep. I'll sleep when I'm dead right?

  3. I have often wondered what would happen at my house if I stopped cleaning up....what would it look like at the end of a day, a week, a month!! (can someone say health department violation!!??)
I try to make it a game...I give the kiddos each a basket and have them fill it up and put it away...see who can do it the fastest!!

You look so stinking cute pregnant!! We are so happy for you guys and pray everyday for this new little one!!
    We love you!!

  4. Hi Ashley! I'm Melissa's friend Heather with the twins. Just had to tell you congrats on your pregnancy! Your babies are beautiful! Oh and I couldn't help but think when you said you are showing that maybe you're having twins! ;) That was the FIRST sign for me although I didn't think anything of it at the time. :)

  5. AHHHH! So excited for you! And that's the cutest preggo picture ever. We are in the full swing of football. It's fun, but so crazy busy. Liked seeing your pics. Change the colors to blue and gray and that's us...every Friday night! XOXO

  6. Just checking up on my bloggy friends, as I've been off on a 9,000 mile Road Trip for the past 6 weeks with 6 of my kids. Wow! What a trip!

Anyway ... CONGRATS on the pregnancy! Yippee! I LOVE when I hear that young mamas aren't afraid to expand their families beyond the "perfect boy/girl". And ... 3 in 3.5 years ... even better. I had my first 5 in 4.5 years.

    You are BLESSED!!!

    Laurel :)
