Yay for Mother's Day!!!
This was my third Mother's Day and by far the best! Colty has been sick with a cough so we stayed home from church this morning. The weather was chilly and rainy which was fantastic for staying-at-home weather! Trav let me sleep in and then served us a breakfast of pastries and coffee. It was such a treat! I was so busy stuffing my face that I never took a picture which is a shame because he had set the table so beautifully. He went all out with tulips in the middle :) Love him! After breakfast we hung out awhile and then I told him to take a nap while I went for a drive with the kids. It's Spring Football right now so he has been putting in long hours. The kids and I drove around for 30 minutes and by the time we got back to the house both kids were sleeping. I was able to transfer them both to their beds where they both took 2 1/2 hour naps!!! So I spent Mother's Day morning looking at blogs and taking a hot bath! :) It was so wonderful! After they all woke up from their naps we headed over to Trav's parents for lunch. They served a delicious spinach salad and chicken salad croissants. My fav! We didn't stay to long at lunch since Colty didn't feel well. By the time we drove home both kids had fallen asleep in the car AGAIN so we transferred them to their beds where they slept for another 2 hours. My kids NEVER take long naps...especially twice a day! Not sure what their deal was?! But I do know that it was fabulous :)

We've got a full week ahead of us. A couple of days this week I will be watching my nephew and niece...one of those days it will be overnight! We are so excited to have them come and stay with us while their parents are out of town. Thankfully Trav's Mom and I are splitting up the week which is nice. So if there's a lack of blogging this week it's because I'll have five children under the age of 4 during a few days. Partayy! :)

And last but not least just a few things that I have been loving this past week.
Top Left: Twila Paris Bedtime Prayers: Lullabies and Peaceful Worship. I was given this cd when Emma was born and it is my favorite lullaby cd! Sometimes I'll lay in bed with Emma and listen to it with her... it is so worshipful. A MUST if you have little people.
Top Right: Water with Lemon. Can't get enough of it this week! I've been working on weaning myself off of daily Dr. Pepper's and have been ordering this instead from Sonic. I used to only drink water and now I'm beginning to remember why...it's so refreshing! :)
Bottom Left: Tyler Candle Company. These are my FAVORITE candles! They're made in Tyler, Texas. The reason I love them is because they're incredibly strong and your room smells delish minutes after you light your candle. (which is perfect if you just changed a poopy diaper and have somebody coming by your house in less than 5 minutes...they work wonders!!!). I just bought two new spring/summer scents. Pineapple Crush and Limelite.
Bottom Right: ALDI Grocery Store. You definitely need to check and see if they have one of these stores near you. It is SUCH a money saver!!! It has really helped out on cutting down our grocery budget!
